Can I buy a domain for use on WIX flash website?
Yes you can! We can do this for you as part of the unlimited domain hosting package.
There are two ways you can set this up, either point the domain to our servers and forward the site externally or point the nameservers externally and point the email back to us. I would suggest the first option as this will allow us to manage the DNS for the domain and we can then advise if this is correctly setup for both email and your website.
1. Use our nameservers and then point the site to the external server, to do this you would need to login select manage domain from our control panel and then point the DNS for the web site to new server. ie use ns1.hosterware.com & ns2.hosterware.com as your domain name host and point your domain to the following Wix IP: 216.139.213.144
2. Or you use the external nameservers ns1.wix.com & ns2.wix.com and then point the email back to ourselves, once the email hosting has been ordered here we can confirm the IP for the MX mailserver assigned to your domain.
